1. About examjuice

examjuice (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online exam practice platform designed to help students prepare for GCSE, A-Level, and similar UK qualifications. By creating an account or using examjuice, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use examjuice. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account or allow others to access it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

examjuice offers paid subscription plans. Practising questions and self-marking are free and unlimited for all users; paid plans add AI photo-marking (and, on ExamJuice Plus, the ExamJuice Tutor chat). All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

  • No refunds. All purchases — including subscriptions — are non-refundable. This applies regardless of how much of the subscription period or photo-mark allowance has been used.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and no partial refund is issued.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Changes will be communicated before they take effect and will not apply to the current billing period already paid.

5. ExamJuice Tutor

ExamJuice Tutor is an AI-powered chat and photo-marking assistant available on eligible paid plans. It is provided as a study aid only: its hints, explanations, and marking are generated automatically and may contain errors. You should always check its responses against the official mark scheme and your own teacher’s guidance, and you must not rely on it as a definitive source of marks or answers.

Photo-marking and your monthly allowance. Practising questions and self-marking are unlimited. AI photo-marking is the metered feature: each paid plan includes a set number of photo-marks per billing period (currently 300 on ExamJuice Lite and 1,000 on ExamJuice Plus), and each photo-mark you submit uses one of that allowance. You may photo-mark any question, including the same question more than once, and each photo-mark may include up to three photos submitted together as a single mark. Once your photo-mark allowance for the period is used up, photo-marking pauses until it resets at the start of your next billing period; practising and self-marking remain unlimited throughout.

Separate usage limits apply to ExamJuice Tutor chat. Your chat allowance is tied to your plan and resets with each billing period. We may adjust these limits, or temporarily restrict access, to keep the service running reliably for everyone. Do not upload content that is unlawful, that infringes another person’s rights, or that contains personal data about others without their consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • attempt to copy, scrape, or redistribute our question content
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract our source code
  • use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or obtain free credits

7. Intellectual Property

All content on examjuice — including questions, explanations, and UI — is owned by examjuice or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may use the platform for personal, non-commercial study only.

8. Disclaimer

examjuice is a revision aid. We do not guarantee any particular exam result or academic outcome. The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, examjuice will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, including (without limitation) loss of data or academic opportunity. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us in that period.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of examjuice after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
